BHR CEO Mr. Jonathan Li attended the Shanghai Forum as a special guest of Mr. Changqi Lu, an alumus of Fudan University who made a generous donation to Fudan University aimed at advancing studies on U.S. China relationships.  The Shanghai Forum is jointly sponsored by the Fudan University and the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies and celebrated its 10th birthday this year by inviting Dr. Ben Bernanke – world-renowned economist who served as Chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve from 2006 to 2014.  Dr. Bernanke’s moderated session with Professor Zhang Jun, Dean of Fudan’s School of Economics, touching upon a variety of topics from the taper tantrum to financial bubbles to the Great Depression to China’s challenges as it transitions its economic model, was the highlight of the Shanghai Forum.
