With 12 years of experience in strategic planning and 11 years of experience in venture capital, Mr. Tong has invested in projects including BesTV, FocalTech, S.C New Energy Technology, Himalaya FM, Cambricon, Innoviz, Hailo, etc, and led the investment department of TCL Venture Capital to invest in more than 90 domestic and foreign deals with a total investment amount of nearly 10 billion RMB. Mr. Tong has 9 years of experience in investing in overseas funds as a limited partner, investing in 4 USD funds, and has 5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions as a senior manager.

Mr. Tong was Vice President of TCL Corporation, President of TCL Venture Capital, and General Manager of TCL Strategic Fund. Before joining TCL, Mr. Tong worked as an assistant professor at the Business School of the National University of Singapore and a senior manager of strategic management at Motorola.

Mr. Tong is a Postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from The George Washington University, and a bachelor's degree in Acoustics from Nanjing University.
